The 100 Emoji or 💯 is used to reveal our message and also convey the message in a better way. They also target the message being conveyed in a more precise manner. I bet this is the reason why people find it so offsetting that some Emoji are missing in the Emoji dictionary.

What does the 100 emoji means?
The One hundred Emoji written in red for emphasis come from the number one hundred which is written in the school’s exams or even text papers indicating a 100% score. In some countries, teachers also use a stamp at the top of the 100 Emoji as a way of indicating what the student has scored. As you may have already noticed, this Emoji is used as a shorthand for 100%. For this reason, in exam papers it can only be used when the student has scored 100 out of 100 marks. It is commonly used with an hidden message such as ‘’keep it real’’ or similar sentiments.
💯 History
This Emoji originally come from the Japanese Mobile Phone networks. It was earlier used in this country to signify full marks especially in academic contexts. The Japanese Mobile phone companies didn’t take a lot of time to think of what Emoji they wanted to use on their mobile phones, they choose 100 Emoji and several other symbols and that’s how it got into technology. It is still used to symbolize an A+ score in schools for the Americans or a 10 score in other countries. Now its use depends on the context.
How to use One Hundred Emoji
As I had already stated, 100 Emoji can be used to reveal a message or even to show that you 100% agree to an idea. However, it can be used in several contexts. In school, it would mean ‘’keep it real’’. In general computer communications, it would mean that you agree with what the other person is saying 100%. In snapchat, it usually appears informant of a fire Emoji to indicate a 100 day snapstreak.
